The Children’s Research Network is holding a practical workshop on 'Quantitative Data Collection Methods'. This will take place at our office in 9 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 on Thursday, 31st August 6-8pm. 

This is the third workshop in the CRN Research Skills Summer School, aimed at practitioner researchers and research interested professionals, including early years educators, social workers, youth workers, teachers, research consultants and early career academics. The School consists of a series of workshops held on Thursday evenings, including sessions on sampling and recruitment; data collection methods; data analysis and training in different software packages; practitioner research; introduction to statistical analysis; ethics; and conducting literature searches and reviews. 

In this third workshop on quantitative data collection methods, participants got the opportunity to learn how to collect data using quantitative methods. Participants will have the opportunity to work closely with Leonor Rodriguez from National University of Ireland Galway who has extensive experience of both qualitative and quantitative methods.

This event will be of interest to researchers, practitioners and service providers who need more experience and knowledge of quantitative methods. The workshop is suitable for those new to quantitative methods and/or with a moderate level experience.
