Scholarship and Research with Children and Young People in Ireland

The Children’s Research Network (CRN) and University College Dublin are hosting a one-day PhD Symposium for the doctoral students from all over Ireland who are currently undertaking research related to children and young people. A major focus of this Symposium is to facilitate dissemination and discussion of PhD research related to Children and Young People. It offers an exciting opportunity to share research, meet and learn from other researchers and academics and exchange ideas in a friendly and supportive environment.  Also, there will be keynote presentations from national and international experts from the field of Children’s and Young People’s research.

Participants are invited to register and submit abstracts for oral presentations. In addition, or alternatively, you can choose to submit an abstract for a poster presentation.  Involve your supervisor(s) in the application and abstract and acknowledge their participation and guidance. Participants who may have recently commenced their PhD studies and do not wish to submit an abstract are welcome to register to participate in scholarly discussions and learning opportunities. There is no cost to attend the PhD symposium and attendance is open to both members and non-members of the CRN.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
